A 1G bidirectional SFP module that operates 1310 nm (TX) / 1550 nm (RX) over single-mode fibre with a reach of up to 20 km, and an SC/UPC connector.
Designed as a direct, drop-in replacement for the Comega 79745 or Genesis FiberTwist P2110B, this kit is ideal for users who prefer a compact, pluggable ONT alternative (media-converter style) so you can connect your own router directly without the ISP’s bulky ONT hardware.
Included in the kit is:
- BX35U-20-SFP 1G BiDi SFP module (SC/UPC).
- 5 metre SC/UPC single-mode patch cable (white).
- 20cm SC/UPC-SC/APC patch cable (white).
- SC/UPC coupler.
If you are using this to connect directly on Gigaclear lines, you must set VLAN 100 on your WAN interface (tagging the ISP VLAN). Without VLAN 100 the connection will not come up. Make sure your router supports VLAN tagging on its WAN port; if it doesn’t, a small managed switch that can tag VLAN 100 will be required.
